About me: Prior to qualifying as a personal trainer I worked in scientific research for many years, completing my PhD in cardiovascular physiology. Although stimulating I felt a change of career was on the horizon. After having my third child I decided to bite the bullet and retrain as a personal trainer. Although my first love is running my own training involves all components of fitness: strength training, cardiovascular cross-training, flexibility and core work (such as Pilates). A holistic approach to training my own body has made me a stronger, faster and less injury prone runner.
I hope I can share my passion for all things fit!

About
I enjoy training both women and men to reach their goals, with a specialism is women's fitness. Whether you’re aiming to feel stronger or build confidence; increase muscle or manage weight; improve your cardiovascular fitness or focus on sport specific training, I can tailor a programme to your specific needs. All levels catered for.
Had a baby? As a mother of three I know how daunting it is even thinking about getting into exercise after having a baby (let alone finding the time!) but with the right training plan and motivation you can achieve your goals. I am qualified in pre and post natal training and also have personal experience of training with post-natal conditions such as diastasis rectus (split abdominal muscles).

Riverside Rebels
I am also a run leader with the fantastic Riverside Rebels. Based in Walton the Rebels are a beginner friendly run group running courses from complete beginner 0-5k up to 5-10k improver groups.
